Low Water Bridge Canoe Rental has been independently owned and operated by the Cathey family since its establishment in 1980. Located on US Highway 67 South, one mile east of the Brazos River, Low Water Bridge Canoe Rental offers canoe, kayak and tube trips, as well as private boat shuttles, on the Brazos River. Limited rentals and shuttles are available on the Paluxy River running through Dinosaur Valley State Park (at the discretion of LWBCR) for experienced paddlers when flow conditions permit. Come visit us for a day or several days on the scenic Brazos and Paluxy Rivers near historic Glen Rose, Texas, and leave your worries behind! |

Enjoy a carefree day exploring the beautiful Brazos River by canoe, kayak or tube. Paddles and lifejackets, as well as shuttles to and from the river, are included with each rental, so all you need to bring is a picnic lunch, beverages (no glass or styrofoam containers please!), fishing gear, camera and your advernturesome self for this fun-filled day. Be sure to bring your camping gear if going on an overnight trip.
Trips of 3, 7, 10, 14, 24 and 31 miles are available
One day trips MUST begin no later than 2:00 PM!
