Due to drought conditions and a statewide burn ban, the annual Alamo City Rivermen's Freeze Trip was moved to Pecan Park on the San Marcos River, where Tom and Paula Goynes graciously opened their campground to paddlers from all over Texas on the weekend of January 28-29, 2006. The photos below represent some of the fun everybody had on this gorgeous river under near-perfect weather conditions.
Photos were taken using a Sony Mavica CD-1000 digital camera. Images were photographed at 1024 X 768 resolution, then reduced to 800 X 600 resolution for the master CD. A CD with all 75 photos taken by Marc W. McCord at the event can be acquired for $10.00 each by writing to canoeman@canoeman.com. Images are available at either 1024 X 768 (upon request) or 800 X 600 resolution. |
